Work at Height - Refresher Training

This training is designed for individuals who have completed the Basic Training for Working at Heights within the last three years and have demonstrated systematic work experience at height.

Participation requirements:

• A valid certification for Working at Heights.

• Participants must be medically fit with good physical condition.

Duration: 1 day (approximately 8 hours)

Ratio: 1/8

Contents:

• A review of key points from the theoretical portion of the Basic Training.

• Organising and planning safe work at heights, including risk assessment analysis, work permits for height activities, and rescue plans.

• Group case study on planning and organising a task, including preparation of a permit for working at height and a rescue plan.

• Practical application of the case studies in the workplace or other relevant locations.

• Training on rescue and evacuation procedures using basic rescue kits and automatic descent devices.

Objectives:

The program will refresh participants' knowledge and skills acquired during their Basic Training, enabling them to continue working at height with improved practices and awareness.

Upon completion, participants will have:

- A deeper understanding of risk assessment.

- An improved understanding of Job Safety Analysis for work at height.

- An enhanced comprehension of emergency response plans.

- Renewed experience using the company's rescue and evacuation equipment.

Examination:

Participants will complete a theoretical test to receive their certificate (Valid for 3 years). During the practical part of the training, participants will be assessed on their ability to perform the equipment manipulations correctly.
