At the Occupational Safety in Construction Conference, I had the opportunity to speak about fall protection. Falls from a height are undoubtedly the number one cause of accidents in the construction sector.
Training and implementation of good practices can dramatically reduce the number of incidents and their severity.

"Working at heights" safety training was delivered to employees of the Municipality of Trikala on Tuesday 15 October 2019.
On the 10th and 11th of October, rescue drills were carried out on the Rio - Antirrio bridge "Charilaos Trikoupis" by High Access, led by Zafiriadis Paschalis.
The event was marked by the launch of the DPESS (DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPRT SCIENCE) of the University of Thessaly entitled: "Applied Leisure Sciences: Nature, Sports, Arts".
The safety practices of two members of our company as supervisors in rope access technicians teams were recognized by the HSSE department of GSIC JV as excellent personal commitment & dedication to health and safety.
